People-Powered Media [un]Workshop

Austin Bloggers is pleased to co-sponsor the People-Powered Media [un]Workshop. The event will be held this Saturday, November 8, 10am to 5pm, at the Ruiz Branch Libray.

The People-Powered Media [un]Workshop is an "unconference" style event created to explore how community media can be used as a tool for information, organization, and action. In an "unconference" format the attendees generate the agenda, the sessions and the discussion. If you are a journalist, artist, technologist, community advocate, creator or just a citizen then the People-Powered Media [un]Workshop will have something for you.

Admission is free, but space is limited, so register today: http://media-unworkshop.eventbrite.com/
