I would shoot for roughly mid-point between blogger meetups (blog.meetup.com).
Where? Pot luck dinners, off-the-wall restaurants, movie theatres (actually, an Alamo drafthouse meeting sounds fun), greenbelt hikes & picnics... variety, people, variety!
